anmerko will not open

Use Chrome, Edge, or Firefox on desktop, or Edge or Firefox for Android, on an HTTP(S) website. Settings, extension stores, and built-in PDF viewers are protected. After updating or reloading anmerko, refresh the website and activate it from your browser’s Extensions menu.

Comments are missing

Choose All pages. This page matches the full URL, including query strings and fragments. Use the same browser profile and installation; another folder or installation has separate storage.

Locate cannot find an element

The page may have changed. Your saved comment and captured text remain available; select the current element to create a new comment.

Copy fails or images are missing

Download Markdown + Images, extract the ZIP, and copy from comments.md. Attach the PNGs separately.

Saving fails

Keep the draft open. Export saved feedback before deleting comments to free storage, then retry. Save successfully before closing or refreshing.

Screenshot selection disappears

Changing tabs or viewport size cancels capture. Reposition the page and try again.

A full-page screenshot scrolls the page for you. Keep the tab in view and leave the page alone until the comment editor opens.
