Alternative if the store page does not work

Section titled “Alternative if the store page does not work”

If the store page reports that the browser is incompatible or does not show an install control, use Edge’s internal extension address:

  1. Copy this address:

    edge://extensions/?id=bfhobiphegcekelfokpcpeepoakkgcka

  2. Paste it directly into Edge’s address bar and open it.

  3. On the anmerko extension page, choose Get or Add, then confirm the requested permissions.

  4. Confirm that anmerko is enabled in Extensions.

Open this guide in Edge and use the Microsoft Edge Add-ons link again, or copy the listing URL and paste it into Edge’s address bar.

Enter the complete address, including the edge://extensions/?id= prefix, in Edge’s address bar.

Open a regular http:// or https:// website, reload it, confirm anmerko is enabled, and select it again from Extensions.
